WHS students competed at the DECA State Career Development Conference virtually along with 3,100 other students from across the state. Ms. Sierra Larkin, WHS DECA Advisor states, "As we all know this year has come with a lot of adaptations and competition is no exception, students had to adapt to this new style of competition and have proven they can excel."

The following students made it to finals placing within the top ten in their event:
Isaac England & Liam Newman - Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making
Matthew Jobe & Jason Newman - Buying and Merchandising Team Decision Making
Courtney Ulrich - Personal Financial Literacy
Lissette Passion and Heather Hayes placed 2nd in the Financial Services Team Decision Making event and will be advancing to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference.
