Create an integrated (into academics), systemic (happening with integrity throughout the system), Multi-tiered (Tier 1 – 3) and comprehensive (from classroom to community) approach to Social Emotional Learning, throughout our K-12 system.

Members' roles
Steering Committee – larger group that will meet roughly quarterly to be updated on the work of the various Task Force/Work Group’s progress. Goal - identify alignment with supports already in place in the system, review the work of the Task Force, make final recommendations.
Task Force/Work Groups - Members of the Steering Committee will be the people doing the detailed work of the different Task Forces. Goals – recommend training, curriculum adoption, etc. Ideas/plans developed by the Task Force will then go to the Steering Committee and potentially, different groups in the system for feedback.
